About FICIL
GCC Statement
In May 2010 FICIL adopted the statement of Good Corporate Citizenship. The goal of this initiative is to foster an improvement in Latvia’s business environment. The statement consists of a belief statement and corporate principles for businesses. It focuses on the four main areas:
- Transparency and Ethics
- Human Resources
- Philanthropy
- The Environment
The statement was originally developed and adopted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia in 2009. With this statement FICIL has taken a leading role in promoting good corporate citizenship to the larger business community.
