FICIL's activities are based on dialogue with the Latvian Government to support improvement in the business environment and investment climate in Latvia. FICIL members identify issues which affect business operations in Latvia. Working with the appropriate government agencies, FICIL seeks to solve any problems through changes in legislation or administrative procedures.
FICIL meets regularly with the Government in High Council Meetings that are jointly chaired by the sitting Prime Minister of Latvia and a CEO of a FICILmember’s parent company.
Once a year the High Council meets to review progress and provide further direction.
