Members of the FICIL Education work group met for the first time this season to look back on what FICIL has achieved in the past and to set priorities for the future work.
This time members of the meeting had a privilege to hear more about ambitious project ‘Skola2030’ led by Zane Oliņa. The project aims to implement competency based curriculum in Latvian schools.
Since the project is ambitious and resourses are scarce, investors could facilitate achieving project results. Sharing the best practice on driving changes in companies with the project team, communicating the need for change to doubtful minds in wider public and be vocal in uncovering the professions labour market demands are some of things investors could do.
